Cookie & Tracking Policy
Essential website storage, planned analytics and advertising, and how consent choices will apply.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
What is active now
The site currently uses a first-party PHP session cookie to maintain session state and security-related values such as a CSRF token. It is separate from advertising and analytics. GA4, Meta Pixel, Meta server-side conversion tracking and Google/Facebook customer sign-in are not currently enabled.
This policy describes the controls required when those planned integrations are introduced. It does not mean that a cookie preference panel or geographic tracking configuration is already operating.
Types of storage and tracking
Essential storage supports requested functions such as sessions, security, authentication and, when available, cart or checkout continuity. Disabling it may prevent these features from working. It must not be repurposed for optional advertising simply by calling it essential.
Analytics: GA4 is planned to help understand website usage and performance. Advertising: Meta Pixel and appropriately configured server-side event tools are planned to measure campaigns and conversions and support advertising audiences.
Two providers do not mean only two cookies. These services may use multiple cookies, identifiers, pixels or server events; authentication can also use separate storage. Before activation, the implemented configuration and relevant lifetimes will be documented. We do not claim an unverified complete cookie inventory.
Regional rules and consent
Where applicable law requires prior consent for optional analytics or advertising, those activities must remain off until you affirmatively accept the relevant category. Silence, scrolling, closing a banner or continuing to browse will not count as acceptance in those circumstances. Required choices must include a meaningful refusal and an accessible way to withdraw consent.
Where prior consent is not legally required, Selenyz may use lawful default-enabled settings, subject to applicable notice, objection, opt-out and other rights. If the applicable region or legal basis cannot be determined reliably, optional tracking will remain off until an appropriate choice is established.
You may withdraw consent or exercise applicable opt-out rights without being forced to subscribe to marketing. Core browsing and necessary order processing must not be conditioned on optional tracking where that would be unlawful.
Server-side events and browser controls
Server-side measurement does not remove privacy or consent obligations. Where consent or an opt-out governs an advertising or analytics event, the same decision applies to related events sent from our server. Server-side tracking must not be used to bypass a legally required refusal or withdrawal.
Browser blocking and consent are different signals, but a blocked browser tag is not, by itself, permission to send the same data by another route. Necessary payment, security and order records are processed for their own purposes and do not automatically authorize advertising disclosures.
You can manage or clear cookies through browser settings. Clearing stored preferences may mean you are asked again later. When optional tracking is introduced, an accessible preference control will be provided where required. For questions now, email support@selenyz.com.
Email preferences and updates
Email marketing is a separate optional choice and will have unsubscribe support. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential order or account messages. Changes to tracking providers, purposes or settings will be reflected in this policy and, where required, a renewed consent request.
Language & mandatory rights
If the English and Bengali versions differ, the English version governs unless mandatory law requires otherwise. This policy does not limit consumer or data-protection rights that cannot legally be excluded. Material changes will be notified where required, and the date on this page will be updated.
